Karen Roberts is a non-traditional student completing her second undergraduate degree in writing and journalism from Western Connecticut State University and working as an intern at the Danbury News-Times. A mother of two and grandmother of one, she has worked in accounting and information systems in Canada, Switzerland, and the U.S. Her recent move back to the United States inspired her to put aside the spreadsheet in favor of the word processor and pursue her love of writing.
